and bless us

Psalm 67:1-3

In Part 1 and Part 2 of this devotional series we looked at the call to pray for God’s blessing upon our lives and to stop and pause to consider God’s blessing (“Selah” means pause and consider; think).

Today I want to focus on the word “THAT.” 

According to this prayer we want God’s blessing. We pray for God’s blessing. We seek God’s blessing.

...“That” His way may be known in the earth and among all the nations.

In other words, we ask God to bless us not just to be blessed by God, but so that others will see him and be blessed by him as well. 

Another way to look at it is to understand that we are blessed to be a blessing to others. 

So let us pray for His blessing on our lives!

And let us bless others as well! 

Pray with me that everyone in All Souls Church would be blessed so that they can bless others around them. So that all the peoples praise our God!
