How Can I Pray For You?
Date Published: 08 / 3 / 2024 |
I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:3-6
Next week I am going up in the mountains by myself to pray, plan, and reflect. I do this once a year to connect with God without distraction. I do this to seek God for my life, my family and our Church.
During my time, I plan to spend time praying for you each by name.
I will be praying for your spiritual health, your connection to God and anything else that you have asked me to pray for.
So here is my first request of you:
Will you reply to this email with any specific prayer requests?
I want to pray for your life, your circumstances, suffering, health, work, family, and anything else that you are dealing with.
My second request is that you would pray for me as I go.
Ask God to lead me as I lead this church. I want to serve you well and shepherd each of you on your journey with Christ. Specifically, I need God’s wisdom on our future.
Third, pray for financial provision for our church.
Our income is put together in 2 ways.
- The generous regular giving of all of us
- Renting the building and parking to churches, studios, neighboring businesses and nonprofits
Our little church is really a special place that is a blessing to all of us. And we seek to be a blessing to the city. May God continue to build us and strengthen us together!
Grace and peace,
Pastor Harvey
