Pray For Me

Pray For Me cover for post

Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ.

Colossians 4:2-3

Next week I will be taking my annual silence and solitude trip. I go spend time in the mountains somewhere and I pray and plan for the church and the church’s future.

Another thing I like to do is get as many prayer requests from the congregation as possible so I can spend time in prayer for each of you individually.

I ask that you pray for me that God would lead me in planning the next year out as well as listening to God for his direction.

Here are the things I need prayer for:

1.  We need to make significant cuts to our budget for 2026. Growth and giving have not increased as we hoped. This will affect our staff salaries, gatherings, parties, and extras. Pray God will lead me as I move towards decisions on these things.

Also pray for God’s provision for the church financially. Pray for an influx of offerings for the rest of 2025. Pray for someone to give a large amount to the church to get us through the next season.

2.) I am seeking God about the next book of the Bible we will study together on Sundays. I plan to preach from the Old Testament this time. Pray God will lead me to the book of the Bible our church needs right now.

3.) Pray I would connect with God deeply over these 3 days.

Finally, please reply to this email with your prayer requests. I really want to pray specifically for each of you.

Grace and peace,

Pastor Harvey
