Why should I give to support All Souls Church?

2 words: Faithful Presence.

We are a faithful presence preaching the good news of Christ ministering to the spiritual and physical needs of those we come in contact with in the city. We are here for believers, skeptics, sinners and seekers who are interested in Jesus. Since LA is the place we are planted and LA County has at least 10 million people in it we have plenty to do in the city. We desire to be a faithful presence “In the City, for the city” Spiritually, Culturally, and Physically.

Spiritually: We Preach Christ crucified, We pray for the peace of the city, We worship God and he serves us with the means of his grace, Word and Sacrament (Bible, Baptism, Communion).

Physically: We feed and clothe the poor and under resourced, We meet needs to see a better city and love our neighbors.

Culturally: Individuals serve God in their Vocation, Location, and Avocations (Work, Home, Hobbies) by doing good work, being good neighbors and befriending people wherever we encounter them with love and grace.

As a Faithful Christian presence All Souls Church’s mission is to be “A counter-formational community that surrounds people with the resources to follow Jesus in real life.”

At the end of the day we are here to re-present Jesus and his kingdom.
